Masterclass Blog Carnival – January

Journey To Success

Masterclass Blog Carnival

A very short edition this month, folks.  We are into the New Year now and have some exciting topics for 2012.

The topic for our January edition of Masterclass Blog Carnival is:

Developing Alliances and Friendships With Other Bloggers

Throughout this series I have been saying about visiting blogs and forums that share the same passion as yourself, seeing what they have created from that passion and getting in the mix with them.

It’s amazing what you can learn from bloggers and it’s free information that has been tried and tested, saving you time, frustration and a whole heap of headaches.

Masterclass Blog Carnival – December

Journey To Success

Masterclass Blog Carnival

Welcome to our December issue of the Masterclass Blog Carnival Journey To Success series.

The topic for this month is: Innovate…take the road not taken…try something new

There have been less entries this month, mainly due to Christmas creeping up on people and catching them out!  I hope you enjoy the entries submitted and please do leave a comment after you have read the posts as the blog owners appreciate it and will always reply to your comments.

So here are our entries this month:

Internet marketing has nowadays become the key to how every business vies to optimize their market share. There are literally tons of Internet Marketing Strategies that are used in the current times. The most common type of Internet marketing strategies involves the use of social media.

However, Internet marketing is not only limited to that, there are other ways and routes that are either undiscovered, or not used by many. These strategies either have not gained attention due to the lack of being run of the mill or just been unlucky.

In the present times where social media is ruling the Internet world, marketers need to learn new ways to sustain in the market. Moreover, every individual wants change and change happens anyway. Therefore, this phenomenon has led marketers to think of new ways to get to their audience and customers and be part of the Internet marketing evolution.

You don’t have to create the same as everyone else because that defeats the object. After all, do you want to be a sheep or a shepherd? Do you want to lead or follow your target audience?

It’s your passion and you should only use these sites for ideas and inspiration, kind of like a spring board to your success. As well as looking to see what others have done with the passion you share you should also be on the look out for things they haven’t done.

Masterclass Blog Carnival – November

Journey To Success

I do hope you have been following this series.  There have been some really splendid ideas and tips offered by the writers.

Here are the entries for November.  Our topic for this month is Focus…time and money…create a manageable budget for both.

Please leave a comment when you visit the blogs.

Before we start on the post let me put a little scenario to you:

You have a limited (or no) knowledge of plumbing and you need a new bathroom suite.  So you go along to the builders merchants, pick out a new suite that suits your requirements and buy it.

Once it has been delivered do you:

A, Enrol in the local college for an evening course on basic plumbing for six months.  Then go and buy all the tools and materials needed to carry out the job and then take the following 2, 3 or 4 weekends trying to install the new bathroom suite.  During which time you and your family sit at home with crossed legs and pegs on your noses?

B, Call in a plumber that has the knowledge, skills, tools and materials needed and can get the job done in a day?  Allowing you to get on with other things during this time and the 2, 3 or 4 weekends you would’ve spent doing it yourself.

Masterclass Blog Carnival – October

This month our entries are focussing on the topic ‘Learn from your mistakes…Back up and start again’.  In everything we do there is always the potential to make mistakes.  Some people give up when they hit a block, but others just back up and start again, learning lessons along the way and putting their mistakes behind them.

Please try to visit all our entries and do leave a comment to let them know you have been.

How many of us during the course of our journey online experienced that “Homer Moment” above and found ourselves saying “D’OH!” I know I have numerous times, but you know what it has never stopped me moving forward, in fact most times I laugh at myself because once I take a good look at the mistake I realise just how silly it was.

As I have said before; Mistakes are okay. They belong in the online journey we are taking. Sure, we want to avoid them and delete them from our memory. But in life there is no delete – because mistakes happen and they are okay.

You know the one of things between being successful online or a failure is the ability of having a positive attitude! A successful online marketer will learn from their mistakes and turn them into stepping stones to get them where they are going and more often than not will not repeat them!

We’ve all heard the saying “everyone makes mistakes” and it’s very true. Regardless of who we are and what we do we all make mistakes from time to time, such is life. The important thing is to learn from those mistakes and turn them into lessons learnt and stepping stones to success.
